We had the honour of welcoming the ๐€๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐š๐ง ๐‡๐ข๐ ๐ก ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ž๐ซ, with his spouse, First Secretary, Senior Programme Manager of DFAT, and the Political Officer, to a RIES project site in ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐š๐ข, ๐€๐ฆ๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐š , on 30๐ญ๐ก ๐€๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ 2025.

The delegation visited ๐’๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ก๐š ๐…๐š๐›๐ซ๐ข๐œ ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐, a weaving centre of a female entrepreneur and RIES project participant under the ๐‡๐š๐ง๐๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ ๐•๐š๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ž ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ข๐ง. The delegation engaged with employees, other MSME owners, and the RIES project partner, the ๐–๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐งโ€™๐ฌ ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐…๐ž๐๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง (๐–๐ƒ๐…). The visit featured rich conversations on:

โ€ข Capacity development and livelihood changes

โ€ข Gender empowerment and womenโ€™s leadership

โ€ข Sustainability of rural MSMEs

The High Commissioner appreciated the ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐  ๐ซ๐ž๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง, the ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ฌ, and the ๐œ๐จ๐ง๐Ÿ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ฏ๐จ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ฌ of project participants.
