Our team at DevPro successfully conducted a series of field discussions on Rapid Capacity Assessments (RCA) as part of the IGNITE Project implemented by Chrysalis, engaging with Producer Groups and community stakeholders across the project districts ( Badulla; Monaragala; Hambantota and Matara )
The field visits provided valuable insights into:
- Existing capacities and knowledge gaps
- Livelihood and market system challenges
- Gender and social inclusion concerns
- Training and institutional strengthening needs
The findings from the RCA will support the design and delivery of tailored capacity-building workshops for 40 Producer Organizations, ensuring that the training interventions are practical, context-specific, and responsive to the needs of communities.
Through participatory discussions, focus group engagements, and stakeholder consultations, the RCA process is helping shape effective and inclusive capacity-building interventions.
