As global markets increasingly integrate sustainability considerations into business decisions, Sri Lankan organizations need to strengthen their sustainability capabilities to remain competitive and access emerging opportunities. Enhancing ESG readiness, sustainability reporting, and climate risk management will help businesses align with evolving international requirements, particularly those linked to global value chains and export markets. This will enable organizations to improve operational resilience, attract responsible investment, access sustainable finance, strengthen stakeholder confidence, and identify new growth opportunities through sustainable business practices.
Through this collaboration, DevPro and CARE Advisory India will support businesses and financial institutions in strengthening sustainability readiness through corporate advisory, capacity building, economic and sector research, ESG frameworks, sustainable finance, climate and ESG risk assessment, enterprise risk management, and sustainability reporting helping Sri Lankan organizations enhance competitiveness and unlock new opportunities in an increasingly sustainability-driven global economy.
