Conducted by DevPro, as the Implementing Partner, the training was held from 10–12 August 2026 at MAS Athena, Thulhiriya, with the same 30 participants continuing their learning journey from Phase 1.
Participants represented Women Development Officers (WDO), Small Enterprise Development Division (SEDD), Department of Industries, Department of Social Services, the MSME sector, National Enterprise Development Authority (NEDA), and women’s organizations.
Building on the foundation established in Phase 1, Phase 2 focused on strengthening participants’ facilitation and training skills through WE-R module familiarization, participatory tools, micro-teaching, coaching women entrepreneurs, managing challenging situations, district roll-out planning, and trainer competency assessment.
The programme concluded with a Trainer Commitment and Closing Ceremony, where participants received certificates in recognition of their successful participation. Together, we are building stronger capacity to support women entrepreneurs and resilient businesses across Sri Lanka.
