The DevPro team proudly marked another milestone by positioning DevPro as a key driving force behind Sri Lanka’s cinnamon industry by taking bold strides to secure a major share in the🌍 global cinnamon market.

🌿 Sri Lanka, as the global leader in Pure Ceylon Cinnamon production, is uniquely positioned to enhance both its cultivation and global export reach. We believe that a new, unified approach is essential to advancing the cinnamon industry, and that 🀝 collaborating with all stakeholders is key to shaping its future.

πŸ“ As the next phase of expanding the value chain of the cinnamon industry in Sri Lanka, the stakeholder consultation workshop on strategic plan development for the Department of Cinnamon Development was successfully held at the Radisson Hotel, Colombo 04, on 24th April 2025.

In total, 31 people attended the workshop, including cinnamon cultivators, processors, value – added producers, exporters, high – level officials of the line ministry, and relevant government institutions.

This initiative is a part of the Resilient and Gender Inclusive Enterprise Systems in Sri Lanka (RIES Project) by DevPro with the financial support of Oxfam Australia. Oxfam is supported by the Australian Government through the Australian NGO cooperation.
