



We had the honour of welcoming the ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ง ๐๐ข๐ ๐ก ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ซ, with his spouse, First Secretary, Senior Programme Manager of DFAT, and the Political Officer, to a RIES project site in ๐๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ข, ๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ , on 30๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ 2025.
The delegation visited ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ก๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐, a weaving centre of a female entrepreneur and RIES project participant under the ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ข๐ง. The delegation engaged with employees, other MSME owners, and the RIES project partner, the ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐งโ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐ ๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง (๐๐๐ ). The visit featured rich conversations on:

โข Capacity development and livelihood changes
โข Gender empowerment and womenโs leadership
โข Sustainability of rural MSMEs
The High Commissioner appreciated the ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ง, the ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ฌ, and the ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐ฏ๐จ๐ข๐๐๐ฌ of project participants. A demonstration of handloom weaving wrapped up the session.
