The momentum continues!
We are working with 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐲𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬 under the 𝐈𝐆𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭, in successfully conducting eight additional capacity-building training programmes in 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐭𝐚, following the completion of earlier workshops in Badulla. The training series is continuing across the target districts until 20th July 2026.
Over the past few days, Producer Group members have actively participated in interactive and practical learning sessions focused on:
• Livelihood Execution and Entrepreneurship
• Financial Literacy, Record Keeping, and Business Planning
• Income Diversification and Value Addition Opportunities
• Collective Marketing and Negotiation Skills
• Advocacy, Leadership, and Collective Action
These participatory training sessions created valuable opportunities for community members to share experiences, discuss challenges, and identify practical solutions to strengthen their enterprises, improve livelihoods, and build resilience.
