At DevPro Guarantee Ltd., we believe that knowledge is the key to transformation! Through our Dairy Entrepreneurship Training Program, weโre equipping farmers with the skills to enhance milk production, increase incomes, improve their quality of life, and address the milk production decline in the country.
DevPro has partnered with the Department of Animal Production and Health (DAPH) to train 120 dairy entrepreneurs across Monaragala, Badulla, and Nuwara Eliya. These farmers, currently producing 20โ30 liters per day, are supported to reach the 100-liter milestone with expert guidance.
Training Highlights:

Effective management of transitional, dry, and postpartum cows
Best practices in calf rearing, feed management, and fodder conservation
Mastitis control for improved milk quality
Tailored farm plans to ensure long-term success
This initiative is part of the Resilient and Gender Inclusive Enterprise Systems (RIES) Project, implemented by DevPro with financial support from Oxfam Australia and the Australian Governmentโs ANCP program.
