We were pleased to contribute to facilitating discussions on the findings of the Agriculture and Fisheries sector ALE System Assessments, held in Colombo from 13–15 September.
The discussions brought together senior-level officials from the Department of Agriculture, Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, relevant sector stakeholders and DVV International to review the assessment findings, identify key gaps, and prioritize short-term and long-term interventions.
The sessions focused on translating the assessment findings into practical actions and developing a foundation for detailed planning to address identified gaps and strengthen the implementation of ALE systems in both sectors.
We sincerely thank DVV International for providing DevPro with the opportunity to contribute to this important process and we look forward to supporting collaborative efforts to strengthen institutional capacities and promote more effective, inclusive and sustainable adult learning systems in Sri Lanka.
